About the Presenter

Sherri Kushner

Sherri Kushner teaches Media Arts at Chute Middle School in Evanston, Illinois. She brings a dynamic energy to her classes on graphic design, photography, narrative media, animation, Minecraft, and Digital Fabrication. While she loves exploring creativity and emerging technologies with her students, her passion is working with students on issue-based projects.  She feels her greatest role in the classroom is teaching students to effectively communicate their ideas about issues that affect them in their school and community. Sherri is an Adobe Education Leader, and has extensive experience running hands-on workshops and speaking live and online at webinars, and state and national art, education, and tech conferences.
